Hey, I’m Joel and I’m looking for a girl I can build with. Someone I can share my mind, music, and perspective with. Social isolation is the hardest part of being in prison. It’s probably something that you’re experiencing for the first time. I’ve been doing it for 5 years now. All without computers, cell phones, the Internet, or GrubHub. But I do have a sweet 14” TV, with no remote, LOL.

Seriously though, I’ve adapted to this life and can maybe be someone to lean on, during these crazy times. I have a complicated story and I’ll answer any questions and letters I get. Basically I was close to dying but didn’t. So I became fearless and lived a reckless life, getting corrupted in the fast life of drug dealing, money, and women. I have a lot of funny and crazy stories for that year. 

Since my arrest, I’ve earned my diploma, applied to Boston University, started journaling, powerlifting, and discovering new music. On the street, I enjoyed music games like: Dance Dance Revolution, In The Groove, Pump It Up, Pop’n Music, Re-Rave. Going to Anime Boston, car shows, clubs, DJ’ing, photography, collecting glass, making cannabis oil, Seinfeld, Star Trek, ATHF, N-64, and SNES. All music is my passion, especially House, Techno, Disco, Trance, Tech-House and Drum N’ Bass. I grew up on Cape Cod, an only child with more cats than any kid should ever have. LOL. Remaining close with my parents and grandparents. 

People often say that I got too much time. I agree. But I believe the real world isn’t about happy endings. It’s about taking the life you have left, and fighting like hell to keep it. I’ve battled anxiety, addiction and depression, which in 2012 was much worse than this prison detour in my life.
